Cut flowers are grown in rows in a glasshouse

You've probably heard of Open Farm Sunday, but do you know about the new farming event on the block? Flower Farmers' Big Weekend.

Over 100 flower farms will be opening their gates to visitors over the course of three days for a new event, the Flower Farmer's Big Weekend, organised by the Flowers from the Farm co-operative and set to take place 16-18 August 2019.

Visit a farm near you and see British cut flower farms at their best and go behind the scenes of the artisan movement on farms, allotments and in cutting gardens of every shape and size.

You'll also find talks, workshops, tours, Pick Your Own days, picnics, suppers and afternoon teas on plots all over the UK.
