Young farmers chosen to represent British farming at Lord Mayor's Show

The NFU will again be supporting The Worshipful Company of Farmers alongside agricultural machinery manufacturer New Holland.

The eight young farmers are:

  • Greg Colebrook from Cambridgeshire, representing East Anglia
  • Hannah Binns from Lancashire, representing the North West
  • Jack Davis from Kent, representing the South East
  • Jessica Spencer from Nottinghamshire, representing the East Midlands
  • John Throup from North Yorkshire, representing the North East
  • Ryan Came-Johnson from Cornwall, representing the South West
  • Dom Bloxham from Staffordshire, representing the West Midlands
  • Tom Rees from Pembrokeshire, representing Wales.

Lord mayor's show 2015_31373NFU Vice President Guy Smith said: “It was a tough selection process from all the nominations we received. But I know the eight young farmers chosen will do a fantastic job on the day as they all share a passion and an enthusiasm about what they do – playing a vital role in producing the nation’s food.

"The Lord Mayor’s Show provides us with the perfect opportunity to showcase the best of British farming to millions of people and explain its vital place in the wider food industry.”
