Let’s Talk Farming booklet competitions: Terms & Conditions

The competitions are open to residents of United Kingdom only, excluding NFU employees, their families, agents or anyone else professionally connected with this promotion.

Participants must be under the age of 15 and must have the assistance of a parent, legal guardian or responsible adult to submit an entry.

More than 1 entry per person is permitted however entries cannot be submitted more than once and all entries are verified and any identical entry that is submitted will be disqualified.

NFU cannot acknowledge receipt of entry but may choose to do so. No entries will be returned.

In order to enter, participants must submit a photo, scan, photocopy or original of any of the following;

-a farm related joke the participant has created,

-an illustration or cartoon of farm animals or farm related topic the participant has created,

-a photo of the colouring activity on pg 6 of the Farming Fun Book.

Submissions are accepted via bGV0c3RhbGtmYXJtaW5nQG5mdS5vcmcudWs= or may also be accepted via the NFU’s official social media channels including NFU Online Facebook, Countryside Online Facebook, NFUCountryside Twitter, NFUTweets Twitter, nfucountryside Instagram or by post at NFU HQ at Stoneleigh park.

Prizes will be awarded to participants at the discretion of members of the NFU communications team whose decision is final.

The NFU is unable to return competition entries.

Entry to this competition is free.

Start date: Friday 17 March 2017 at 00.01am.

Closing date: There is currently no closing date, however the NFU communications team reserves the right to close the competition at a time of their choosing.

The prizes will vary according to the time of year and availability of items.

By entering this competition, you agree that NFU is permitted to use any submitted entry on any of their websites and for publicity materials without prior notice on NFU media, both in print and online, including social media.

A winner will be selected at an interval of the NFU communications teams’ choosing.

The winner’s first name will be available on request and may also be publicised but personal details including contact information will be stored by the NFU in line with our privacy notice.

The winner agrees to take part in any post-promotion publicity.

The NFU retain copyright in any submitted entries and has rights in perpetuity to use any submitted entries & if your submission is a photograph which children are the subject of, you consent to that photograph being utilised by the NFU

The NFU reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions or to cancel, withdraw or amend the promotion at any stage, if deemed necessary in its opinion, or if circumstances arise outside its control.

The NFU does not accept responsibility for lost, delayed or fraudulent entries.

If the winner fails to respond to the notification email within 4 days of the email being sent to them, following the selection of the winner, the NFU reserve the right to offer the prize to a runner up, or to re-offer the prize in future promotions.
