Thursday 10 August sees the annual social media event which is #farm24. Run by FG Insights and supported by Morrisons, the aim of the day (starting and ending at 5am) is to showcase the passion and commitment which goes into producing the food we eat.
How you can get involved:
Anyone can take part, simply by posting on any social media platform (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat and Instagram) using the hashtag #Farm24.
Farmers Guardian editor Ben Briggs said: “Last year’s event had an audience reach of 112 million and trended in the top five on Twitter all day.
“UK agriculture has a fantastic story to tell and 24 Hours in Farming allows everyone to shout about the industry and why they are so proud to work within it. It has become the go-to event within agriculture’s social media calendar and we want as many people as possible to be involved again in 2017.”
