Buckingham Palace and Champagne Afternoon Tea for Two

Hampton Court Flower Show 3rd – 8th July 2012
We’re offering members the chance to walk into a world of inspiration at the RHS Hampton Court Palace Flower Show.

Horse Riding Family Day – Reading, Berkshire
Ever fancied getting saddled up and having a go at riding? Well with this fantastic experience you will be able to take the family out for a session in Reading, Berkshire.
This is a perfect way to spend some quality time together, whether you are novices or experienced riders. After being introduced to your ponies, the instructor will teach the youngsters how to tack up and head out for a short lesson to assess their abilities.
Then adults can lead the children on a hack (including walk and trot) in countryside or in the woodland. The children have an hour and a half riding time, followed by soup and sandwiches for all of you. And at the end everyone has the opportunity to groom a horse.

Wildlife photography experience
If you’re wild about photography or go crazy for wildlife then this is the ideal experience for you. During this full-day photography master class, you will discover the art of capturing outstanding wildlife shots, with expert tuition on how to get the most out of your own camera.
You’ll get close-up access to a variety of the most colourful and photogenic animals in the world - reptiles, snakes, amphibians, and invertebrates. This is a unique opportunity you would never have in a zoo or wildlife park. The day begins at 10am. You will be based in a luxury log-cabin, with full facilities including smart whiteboard, projector and Wi-Fi plus two studio areas set up with lighting and props.

Llama Trekking
Ever fancied trekking through the stunning British Countryside with a Llama at your side? Well with this unusual experience you and a guest will have the chance.

You will receive a warm and informative welcome in the reception room, before taking the reins of your llama and heading out on a two-hour trek.

The Vinopolis grapevine experience for two
Located in London’s vibrant Bankside, the two-and-a-half acre Vinopolis attraction sits alongside Borough Market, the Tate Modern and Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre.

Staffordshire County Show 2012
The two-day Staffordshire County show (June 6-7) is set to be an event to remember.
This year promises to be a big one with the upcoming Olympics and the Diamond Jubilee. The show and its partner organisations have made an effort to incorporate both into the themes.
There will be more than 20 attractions in the main arena, 2,000 animals, an extensive food tent, a venison and wild boar barbecue – and plenty to see and do for the whole family on a wide range of stalls. NFU members get £1 off advance tickets prices and a saving of £3 on the gate, making this fabulous day out a bargain at £12.
The Great Yorkshire Show 2012
The 154th Great Yorkshire Show takes place on July 10, 11 and 12 and will include the cream of the country’s livestock, edge-of-the-seat displays, acres of shopping and countryside activities.
The show is one of the finest on the calendar and attracts more than 130,000 visitors. With the countryside firmly at its heart, it is a shop window for the farming industry and a fabulous day out for all the family.

Bee-keeping – Beginner’s Day Experience
Have you ever thought about owning your very own bee hive and producing your own local honey? Well with this fantastic introduction to bee-keeping you will spend a full day learning the skills and techniques to make that possible.
You will learn about life in the hive, taking a close look at the queens, workers and drones. Experience a working hive inspection with honey extraction and even taste some delicious honey.
Your day will start at 10am and run right through to 4:30pm. The bee experience takes place in Plymouth, Devon and is run by Tim Payne.

The Royal Bath and West Show 2012
The Royal Bath and West Show takes place near Shepton Mallet between May 30 and June 2. From the country's finest livestock and more than 600 trade stands, to the National Cheese Awards and the UK's biggest cider competition, there really is something for everyone – farmer, family or food lover.

Whisky tasting masterclass
Whisky has always had a certain mystique about it, which is a nice way of saying people would love to know more about it. If you enjoy a wee dram now and then and you want to learn a bit more without drowning in jargon, then this is the experience for you.
You will taste six excellent single malt and blended whiskies including Scotch, Bourbon and Irish. You will be guided by an experienced host who will help you discover and appreciate the diversity of whisky and the different characters of different types.
